Girl With Matching Flowers

She must've taken some rose petals to the hardware store when she had her paint mixed. The color match is perfect...but then her entire front yard is perfect.

This town’s got a girl with matching flowers

Tending her garden for hours and hours

Even though we’ve never ever met

Her crazy blooming world makes my world better

First you see her magic orange roses

Then the orange house paint, and purple posies

Her tiny wooden cottage with flowers matching

Outshines any rich man’s mansion

Vincent Van Gogh...he’d be awful jealous

Of the ruby and the gold...bursting on her trellis

With a turquoise sky...swirling up above it

She took my rotten day...and she made me love it

Now the TV says, this dirt clod is declining

No one told the girl, where color’s always shining

I dare you to feel down in the mouth or soured

When you pass the orange house with orange flowers

Vincent Van Gogh...he’d be awful jealous

Of the ruby and the gold...bursting on her trellis

With a turquoise sky...swirling up above it

If you see her green thumb...won't ya tell her that I love it
